Vicky Pattison admits the real reason why she can’t find a man as she blurts out single girl problems to Ferne McCann

VICKY Pattison has blurted out the real reason she thinks she's been unable to find lasting love - because people think she's a "drunken nutcase."

Speaking to her pal Ferne McCann as the pair toured the Amalfi coast for This Morning, Vicky, 28, said: "These days people are more obsessed with Instagram likes than they are with actually getting a compliment off someone in a bar.

"I don't know whether being in the public eye has helped or hindered my love life... imagine how hard it is for a bloke to come into a bar and talk to me?

"Everyone thinks I’m some sort of drunken nutcase anyway!"

The Newcastle babe who shot to fame with her alcohol fuelled antics on MTV's Geordie Shore, has been linked to series of different men.

Lending a sympathetic ear, Ferne, 26, commented: "I think it’s tough, not only because we’re in the public eye, but it’s hard with our generation to meet someone.

"Everything’s so instant. It gets rid of that whole meeting someone organically."

Ferne, who this month said she still saw herself as single despite enjoying several holidays with  hunky Essex lad Arthur Collins, added: "I just want to fall in love. I’m such an old romantic… I want to laugh with someone. I want my man to be my best friend."

While Vicky explained she was "waiting" for the right man to come along.

Moments after they'd bumped into an unavailable Italian hunk on the beach, she said: "You shouldn't look for love, you shouldn’t search for it, you should fall into it, so desperately and so unplanned… and that’s what I’m waiting for I suppose."
Discussing their love lives as they travelled around Italy, the pair also had the opportunity to milk a buffalo.

Vicky was unsuccessful in her attempt as she startled the buffalo when she scratched it with her nails.
