This Morning viewers slam ‘disgusting’ couple as man reveals he funnel feeds girlfriend to become ‘fattest woman in the world’

AN American whose boyfriend feeds her through a funnel in their bid to make her "the world's fattest woman" have been branded "pathetic" and "disgusting" by This Morning viewers.

And the show's hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were praised for the way they handled the interview with Monica Riley and her boyfriend Sid - getting straight to the point on the risks the 27-year-old was taking with her health.

One viewer said: "#thismorning This is disgusting!!!! Why on earth would you choose to be so huge!!!!! I feel a bit sick!!!!!!"

And once Monica, who's target is to reach 71 stones, revealed her desire to have children, another commented: "The woman on #ThisMorning is disgusting - what life would a child have brought up from a bed?! #disgusting & her fella is just as bad!"

Interviewing the couple via live link, Holly suggested Sid was just helping Monica "get closer to the grave."

While Phil said point blank to Sid "You are actually killing her."

But Monica responded: "We don't see it like that," adding "It's a pleasure for both of us."

Happy with the hosts' no nonsense attitude, one fan wrote on Twitter: "I love the way Phillip and Holly are talking to this ridiculous couple! Straight to the point with the fact she's going to die #thismorning."
