‘I wanted to ram a car into a wall …and kill myself’ reveals Katie Price as she wishes death on best pal who bedded hubby and ‘tried to steal her life’

KATIE Price wanted to kill herself over her husband’s affair with her best pal.

She has revealed she considered crashing a car into a wall or drowning herself in the sea.

Katie, 38, was on holiday in 2014 when she found out about Kieran Hayler’s ten-month fling with Jane Pountney.

Launching her new book, she said: “It was the ultimate betrayal. If I hadn’t been pregnant with Bunny and had my children, I would have 100 per cent tried to kill myself.”

Katie has told how she wishes her former best mate dead every day — for the treachery of sleeping with her husband.

Jane Pountney, 50, had a ten-month affair with Kieran Hayler in what Katie called “the ultimate betrayal”.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, the Loose Women star revealed she has dealt with third hubby Kieran’s cheating.

But she could not contain her feelings about Jane — a friend for 20 years and twice her bridesmaid.

Katie, 38, said: “Jane is a cold, calculating, evil, manipulative bitch who I hope dies in a car crash or in a very painful way.

“If she was on fire in front of me I wouldn’t even spit on her.

“I hope she rots in hell. Her mum is already in her grave but Jane won’t be going to heaven to be with her mum.

“That woman is only going in one direction — to hell.

“I hope everything bad that could happen to her in life does happen.

“I was a wonderful friend to her, welcomed her into my family.

“But she didn’t care about me or that I was pregnant, she just wanted my life, my husband.”

Katie caught Kieran, 29, and Jane, 50, kissing on a beach during a joint family holiday to Cape Verde in April 2014.

She was expecting their second child Bunny — and later found out the affair began while she was pregnant with their first child Jett.

She also discovered the pair had romped in various places, including her home.
 Katie swiftly went on Twitter to brand Jane — a bridesmaid at her weddings to Kieran and ex- husband Alex Reid — a “whore”.

Mum-of-five Katie admitted: “I have never ever been so low as after I found out about them. I just wanted to end it all. I wanted to commit suicide.

“I was consumed by those dark thoughts, all of the time.

"I felt as though I couldn’t carry on. I remember sitting on the beach in the early hours Googling ‘men who cheat on their pregnant wives’.

“I felt so alone. Kieran hadn’t bothered to come and find me and I just thought, ‘I want to drown myself in the sea’.

“I felt desperate. I didn’t know what to do.

“I was put on Valium for a few days to calm me down. I couldn’t stop crying, I couldn’t handle it.

“It was the ultimate betrayal.

“When I flew home it didn’t get any better.

“Looking back it terrifies me — I contemplated hanging myself or ramming my car in a wall.

“I just didn’t think I could carry on with life.

“If I hadn’t been pregnant with Bunny and had my children I don’t think I would be here today — I would have 100 per cent tried to kill myself.”

Katie accused Jane of trying to steal her life.

She said: “It was like the film Single White Female. She went to the gym to have a body like me — tried to look like me.

“She suddenly started to wear frilly g-strings. I remember how odd it was at the time.

“My husband had a sex addiction — easy prey.

“To cope with that is enough but your friend, your best friend, sleeping with your husband . . . just imagine how that feels.

“She had an absolute, complete obsession with me.

“One of my friends saw her yesterday and said she doesn’t look like me any more — she has a fat belly!

“She’s no longer the clone that tried to look like me. She’s the Jane that I remember.

“She has never apologised to me. Never tried to make contact.

“She is a coward. She had the balls to do that behind my back, but never had the balls to say sorry.

“Obviously I want to know, ‘Why?’. But really there is no excuse, is there?

“Kieran sent her text messages that she should have ignored or told me about.

“She confided in mutual friends about his messages. They told her to tell me Kieran was doing this.

“But she didn’t. She decided to f*** him instead.”

Katie, whose new autobiography Reborn is released on September 22, still has not “forgiven or forgotten” what her husband did.

Kieran also cheated on her with friend Chrissy Thomas, 43.

But Katie says she understands what he did because of his diagnosis with a sex addiction — and has learned to deal with it.

Kieran underwent intensive therapy and the couple have since renewed their wedding vows.

Katie explained: “He contacted three friends — Chrissy just shagged him. Jane became obsessed. The third did the right thing.

“I never thought Jane and Chrissy would do this to me. I know I am blaming the women but Kieran only knew me and my ­family for a year. They knew me inside and out.”

Katie said: “Jane just wanted my life, she wanted my husband and she tried to turn herself into me so he would be with her.

“Kieran didn’t want to be with her or Chrissy. He told Jane that to her face. She was gutted!”

Katie said of her former stripper husband: “He knew he needed therapy and he had it. I trust him now.

The old Kieran is dead. The change in him is incredible. The man who cheated on me has gone.

“He is happy being a dad, looking after our animals, riding his horse Eddie and being a decent husband.

“I don’t regret staying with him for a second. I don’t go on at him for what happened. I’ve had to move on.”

“Our marriage was fine. We were in the first year of marriage, our sex life was great. But Jane was not happy in her marriage so she wanted my husband.”

Now Katie, who also has son Harvey, 14, plus two children from her marriage to Peter Andre — Junior, eleven, and Princess, nine — is looking to add to her family by adopting a child.

She said: “We are getting a baby from abroad. I want to give a home to a child that needs a home.

“I would like another natural baby further down the line too. But not now! I’ve just got my body back in shape.”

Katie admitted she lost a lot of money when she ditched the home where Kieran romped with Jane because of the painful memories.

But she added: “I feel like I’ve come out of this whole horrid saga as the winner. Jane has lost her husband, she has ruined her life, she has lost everything.”
