Brit Awards 2022 – Adele DOMINATES winners list & declares ‘I love being a woman’ at gender-neutral show

ADELE was the big winner at The Brit Awards last night, scooping 3 gongs and dedicating her Album of the Year prize to son Angelo.
The superstar, 30, held back tears as she praised her little boy for being so kind and gracious as she navigated her way through her painful split with her ex Simon, who she also thanked in her acceptance speech.
She said: "This album was all of our journey, not just mine."
She also appeared to make a dig at the show's controversial new "gender neutral" set-up, declaring "I love being a woman".
Comedian Mo Gilligan was praised by fans for hosting this year's ceremony, replacing Jack Whitehall who has helmed the event in recent years.

Madonna’s fall live on stage in 2015 was voted the most embarrassing moment to ever happen at the BRIT Awards according to new research.
The findings by a survey conducted by Betfair Casino show more than a quarter of fans voted for the Queen Of Pop’s cape mishap (29 per cent), while Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood hosting in 1989 closely followed in second with 16 per cent.
Jarvis Cocker flashing during Michael Jackson’s performance (10 per cent) and Adele flipping the bird (10 per cent) also made up the top five biggest blunders
Fans crowned Adele's rendition of Someone Like You in 2011 as their most memorable performance from previous ceremonies, with the singer stealing 18 per cent of the total vote
Fans also had their say on their favourite host so far, with much-loved duo Ant and Dec (22 per cent) beating out comedians James Corden (19 per cent) and Jack Whitehall (16 per cent) to take the title

MAYA Jama looked sensational as she became the first celebrity on the Brits red carpet tonight.
The TV presenter, 27, rolled up at The O2 in south-east London's a full four hours before the ceremony was due to begin.
She has to be the first person there as she is conducting the red-carpet interviews for the event.
Yesterday Maya - who recently revealed she is engaged to basketball star Ben Simmons - explained she was having a special massage ahead of the ceremony.
She said: "I want my belly out for Brits and I’ve been eating McDonald’s like a pig, so I will update you on what’s happening."
She was joined on the red carpet by Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, who is also on presenting duties on the red carpet tonight.

The London-inspired Roblox venue features neon-lit skyscrapers, as well as local landmarks like the London Eye.
Before the PinkPantheress concert debuts, players can participate in activities like scavenger hunts, and collect hidden BRIT Award statuettes.
There's even virtual BRITs merch on offer, as well as the chance to meet artists and celebs via in-game meet-and-greets.
