Jamie Redknapp devastated after dog he shared with ex Louise dies
JAMIE Redknapp has paid tribute to his beloved pooch Bluebell after his ex wife Louise announced their pet's death on social media last night.
Following Louise's lead, , who is currently on holidays in the Maldives, took to his Instagram Story today to shared two adorable photos of their late dog, affectionately known as Blu.
The 48-year-old wrote across the first snap of the Shar Pei walking through a park: "Goodbye beautiful girl we will miss you so much [broken heart emoji].
"Blu [love heart emoji]".
The former England footballer is currently on his first family holiday with newborn son Raphael and wife Frida.
Blu was one of two dogs he and ex Louise shared with their sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12.
Last night, Louise, 47, announced her pet pooch's death on Instagram last night along a slew of sweet shots of them together throughout her life.
Louise penned alongside the tribute to her Shar Pei: "I am absolutely heartbroken that we had to say goodbye to our little girl Blu early this morning.

"I am going to miss you so much my darling girl, your escaping through the fence, chasing the squirrels out of the garden, our long walks in the woods watching you run carefree, going upstairs when we say 'bed time' and getting on mummy’s bed instead of in your own and most of all your kisses and cuddles every day.
"I wanted to share this with you because I know so many of you follow their Insta page and loved seeing what Blu and Rudi were up to and loved them as much as we did.
"We’ll miss you so much, sleep tight our gorgeous Bluebells, " she continued. "Love you forever Mummy, Chaz and Beau Beaus Xxx".
After sharing her post, Louise was inundated with messages of support from friends and followers over Blu's passing.
Martine McCutcheon commented: "I’m so sorry Angel. Sending so much love: x".
"I’m so sorry darling," wrote singer Anastacia. While Strictly pro Karen Hauer shared: "So sorry lovely, sending love".
Meanwhile, Louise was left devastated after accidentally running over her sunglasses, crushing them to pieces last month.
The singer, 47, shared a picture of her shattered shades on her Instagram account at the time and wrote: "Has anyone else run over their sunglasses before... gutted."
Louise was married to Jamie Redknapp between 1998 and 2017. The pair share two sons - Charley, 16, and Beau, 12.
Four years on from their split, Louise revealed in November that her sons have been encouraging her to start dating again.
She told The Sun: “Oh yeah, they always say: ‘When are you going to [date]?’ Dating just takes time.
"I do eight shows in five days [Louise is currently in 9 To 5: The Musical] and on my days off, going out and having a social life is not my priority.
"It’s being a mum and stocking up the fridge. All my boys care about is me being happy – whatever that is.

“It sounds basic, but I’ve got two things that are really important to me right now: my kids, because I want to be a solid part of their life, and my work.
"Right now, that’s enough for me, I’m not saying forever. I’m learning to just be OK with myself. I’m not loving myself, but I’ve been OK. I’m getting there.”
