Love Island’s Sophie Gradon and Tom Powell spotted looking at rings in jewellery shop in Newcastle
The couple had a rocky start but are stronger than ever
LOVE Island stars Sophie Gradon and Tom Powell have sparked speculation that they might be taking their relationship to the next level after they were spotted ring shopping.
The couple – who had a tricky start to their romance on the ITV2 show – looked more loved up than ever before as they browsed a selection of jewellery.
Tom, who was wearing a denim jacket and backwards cap, could be seen pointing to a selection of sparklers in the Metro Centre, Newcastle.
Stunning former beauty queen Sophie seemed rather taken with some of them – so perhaps an engagement is on the cards?
The Geordie reality star, who couldn’t stop smiling, looked typically cool for their shopping trip wearing a pair of very ripped jeans, with a cream duster coat and black choker.
Their jewellery shopping outing came just weeks after Tom met Sophie’s parents for the first time.
Keeping their fans up to date with their relationship, Tom tweeted: “Just got home from meeting @sophiegradon ‘s parents… No black eyes or thick lips… Think it went pretty well!”
It came as somewhat of a surprise though as only days before that couple had become embroiled in a Twitter row and Sophie revealed they weren’t quite ready to move in together like Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen.
She said: “We were but we’ve had a bit of a rocky road. I don’t know what’s happening but we’re just going to see.”
Sophie then caused concern when she decided to delete her Twitter account for a few days.
Tom reassured her fans that she was OK though, telling them: “For everyone asking Sophie is fine she’s just having some quality time with her family and didn’t want any distractions.”
The handsome couple had a tough start on TV after Tom was kicked out of the villa and Sophie paired up with new girl Katie Salmon.
While Tom was furious after seeing Sophie kiss Katie, the couple patched things up and decided to give their relationship another go.
And judging by these pictures things are going from strength to strength.
