Gary Lineker and ex wife Danielle Bux enjoy a family day out together in LA with daughter Ella

PLAYING happy families looked effortless for Gary Lineker who jetted half-way across the globe to visit ex wife Danielle Bux and her daughter Ella.
The Match of the Day host made it clear there was nobody else he would rather spend his time off with, strolling down the streets of LA with a huge smile as he chatted to the girls.
The silver-haired former sports star even wore his wedding ring, albeit on his right hand.
His active role in their life has again sparked rumours he has rekindled his love with budding actress Danielle after the pair divorced in January.
Since their split, they have maintained a cozy connection and last month even hit party island Ibiza for a joint holiday.
This time around they looked to be relishing being back in each others' company as they sipped on iced coffee at a trendy cafe.
Brunette Danielle, who wore a trendy floral print shirt with tiny denim shorts showed off her tanned, toned thighs as she strolled from the drinks spot in wedge heels.
Looking every inch the glam yummy mummy, she wore her hair in effortless waves and covered her eyes with huge sunglasses as she collected their order.
The pair, who were married for six years before they split, then sat close to each other and looked to be deep in conversation.
Occasionally breaking out into huge smiles they were then joined by teen Ella, 14, who looked casual in a grey top and jeans.
She slurped up her drink before playing a punch game with her fists with Gary on the table.
Revealing their very close bond, the dad and stepdaughter duo then strode side by side as they left the venue.
Gary, 55, then had Ella in stitches as he explained something to her with dramatic hand gestures and himself looked equally entertained.
he raised his left arm to the sky and as he did so, Ella followed suit.
Meanwhile pretty Danielle took a step back and strolled behind, letting Gary and Ella have a much needed catch-up.
They then left as a three in a huge black people carrier.
Talking of being step-dad to Danielle's daughter, : "I’ve a feeling that the teenage years will be interesting. But it’s wonderful to be given a daughter. She has a father, who’s a great guy, and I’m careful to respect that relationship. I think we’re doing OK."

After he was spotted soaking up the sun with Danielle on the White Isle last month he was quick to shun any suggestion they were back together.
Theirn holiday came justa few days after he was spotted with his arm around his ex lover during a shopping trip in London's swanky Notting Hill.
He took to Twitter to write: “More fabricated nonsense in press. @DanielleBux and I remain close friends. Our kids do too, but we’re not back together. We’re grown-ups.”
The process cost just £400 rather than the huge sums usually associated with celeb divorces.
The pair reportedly called it quits because Danielle, who is mum to a teenage daughter, wanted to have another child but dad-of-four Gary felt he was too old to have more children.
They spent last Christmas together but had been apart before then as model Danielle was trying to carve out a career for herself as an actress in LA while Gary had work commitments here.
A source at the time said: “They made a great couple but their different views on having children is what made them realise they had to split.
“They both know it is the right thing to do and are looking forward to the future.
“They are convinced they will stay friends.”
