Are they or aren't they? Reality TV stars Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt have denied they are romantically involved and insist they're just good friends but not according to Holly and Phil
BOTH This Morning viewers and Phillip Scofield and Holly Willoughby are convinced that Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt are an item after they appeared on the show today when Joey admitted that he’s bought her a puppy.
The pair are currently appearing on Celebs Go Dating and after Stephanie revealed that she had thought that she’d possibly met “The One”, Phillip couldn’t resist pointing out that the pair looked particularly close at The National Television Awards this week.
As Phillip, told them, “You looked like you were into each other”, they both laughed awkwardly, with Stephanie saying, “I’m shocked by this!”
Phil and Holly continued to press them for more information so Joey revealed: “We do go on a date and I’ve brought her a puppy.”
Speaking about the little pup called Charlie, Steph simply added, “I love dogs.”
As the two continued to squirm at the hosts’ questioning as to whether Steph was Joey’s “salty potato” and whether they’d be arriving to work together the in the morning, Stephanie teased: “We could pull up in the same car together, we really wanna save the environment.”
They managed to divert attention aware from the subject until the end of the interview when Joey put his hand on Steph’s knee, and then joked he’d “made it obvious.”
Phil and Holly weren't alone, viewers took to Twitter to share how convinced they are that the ex-Only way Is Essex star and the Made In Chelsea favourite are hiding a secret romance.
“How cute are @JoeyEssex_ and @stephaniepratt together on @thismorning #thismorning #lovebirds,” said one fan, while another added, “omG @JoeyEssex_ and @stephaniepratt has to be a thing!!! they are sooo cute together #thismorning”
While some joked about the terrible job they’d done of hiding their feelings.
One viewer joked, “Joey's smitten.He doesnt care. Nice try though Steph @Schofe 'it means obvious. I know’ #ThisMorning” while another posted: “Well @JoeyEssex_ and @stephaniepratt couldn't make their relationship anymore obvious!!#ThisMorning”
