Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent plots Helen Flanagan’s return to the cobbles as Rosie Webster
The 24-year-old actress is ready for the Webster sisters to reunite on-screen
BROOKE Vincent is plotting to bring on-screen sister Helen Flanagan back to the Coronation Street cobbles as ditzy Rosie Webster.
Discussing her desire for a Webster family reunion, Brooke opened up during an appearance on Thursday’s episode of Lorraine while promoting her new play Be My Baby.
The 24-year-old said: “I want Rosie back.
“My years working with her were the best – we need to get her back!”
Discussing how their on-screen parents, Michael Le Vell and Sally Metcalfe, enjoyed the duo, Brooke added: “Michael used to tear his hair out with us and Sally was quite chilled.”
Helen has previously revealed she's ready to reprise her role as Rosie.
The 26-year-old actress, who played Rosie from 2000 until 2012, initially quit the show to focus on her family with boyfriend Scott Sinclair and daughter Matilda.
But it appears she’s ready for a sensational return to the spotlight.
Earlier this year, Helen told us: “I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street one day but it would have to work around Matilda.”
An inside source at Corrie told us: "It is widely thought that the bosses do want to bring Rosie back, thanks to all the references being made to her in recent scripts.
“She has always been mentioned from time to time, but this is far more than usual. It seems that the writers are trying to remind viewers about her."
