Kirstie Allsopp makes shocking revelation about ‘romance’ with co-star Phil Spencer

The presenter finally responds to THOSE rumours

And today Kirstie has finally answered those rumours.

The new series of the show is set to kick of this week and the 45-year-old used the time to set the record straight.

Chatting today on This Morning she told hosts Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield the truth.

On the consistent claims, the mum-of-two said: “It doesn't frustrate me, it just amazes me!”

While she was keen to make clear that “he's a really, really nice person”, she did say they were too much like brother and sister to ever be romantically involved.

She said: “We have the same things at heart but we are very different personalities.”

The bubbly star added: “It sounds awful but he is no more my type than I am his type.”

Kristie and her partner Ben Andersen have been together since 2004 and have two children together - Bay, nine, and Oscar, five - as well as two from his previous marriage.

Meanwhile Phil, who calls Kirstie his “other wife” has sons Jake, 11, and Ben, eight, with his Australian wife Fiona, 47.
