Celebs share adorable pics of their children on the first day of school — can you guess whose kids these are?
Kerry Katona, Wayne Rooney, Amanda Holden and more get emotional as they see off their kids
MOST parents feel a sense of pride — or relief — on a child’s first day at school, and celeb mums and dads are no exception.
Kerry Katona, Wayne Rooney and Amanda Holden were among stars celebrating today as they shared snaps of their kids heading to class after the summer holidays.
Kerry, whom ex Brian McFadden recently praised as an “amazing mum”, took to Twitter as two of her five kids, nine-year-old Max and eight-year-old Heidi, prepared to head off in their uniforms.
Two-year-old Dylan Jorge, not quite old enough to start school yet, helped see her siblings off as Kerry gushed: “Just look at how handsome and beautiful max n Heidi look first day back at school! DJ getting in on the act too.”
On Instagram Man United star Wayne posted side-by-side pics of sons Klay, three, and Kai, six, in coordinating black, yellow and grey uniforms with matching caps.
He wrote: “Proud dad this morning. First day back at school for my boys.”
Wife Coleen shared a collage of shots on Instagram, writing: “Kai & Klay ready for their first day back at school.” (The snaps sparked a string of Harry Potter gags on Twitter.)
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda confessed she was emotional as she saw off her four-year-old daughter Hollie Rose.
Amanda, who wrote about sending her youngest back to school in her column for The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, shared a photo of the little girls’ feet in white socks and black Mary Jane shoes adorned with bows.
She wrote: “First day of school. Mama is a mess! :(”
Elton John shared a photo of his sons with David Furnish, three-year-old Elijah and five-year-old Zachary, walking side by side in matching black and red and carrying briefcase-style school bags.
The music legend wrote: “Back to school @davidfurnish #ShareTheLove.”
Danielle Lloyd snapped six-year-old Archie, five-year-old Harry and three-year-old George in their red V-neck sweaters and striped ties, writing: “My 3 boys so proud of them trust George to have his tongue out just shows his personality #firstday.”
She added that it was George was heading to pre-school and was “so excited to go with his brothers”.
Meanwhile Jeff Brazier shared a sweet exchange with son Freddie, 11, whom he shared with late reality star Jade Goody.
Jeff revealed that as Freddie prepared for his first day in senior school, he told his dad: “I don’t need to be scared because I look smart and can just be myself.”
