Sarah Harding planning pop comeback… with Ed Sheeran’s cousin
The singer has been spending time in the studio with Jethro 'Alonestar' Sheeran
SARAH Harding is planning a huge pop comeback – and has teamed up with Ed Sheeran’s cousin to make it happen.
The former Girls Aloud star, 34,, is hoping to top the charts with hip-hop and urban pop artist, Jethro ‘Alonestar’ Sheeran.
Jethro, known by his stage name of Alonestar, has previously worked on numerous songs with superstar cousin Ed.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal the pair are currently putting the final touches to the untitled track – which they will be shooting a video for once Sarah wraps her role in the touring production of Ghost The Musical.
An inside source tells us: “There’s a real buzz around the stuff they've recorded and the team believe it’s a guaranteed number one. People will be very surprised when it's finally released.”
Talking about their time in the studio together, Sarah tells us: "Jethro’s a really talented producer and its been great to spend a bit of time with him in the studio as well.
"There aren’t any plans to releasing anything at the moment but watch this space!
"Right now my focus is on playing Molly in Ghost the Musical."
Building exciting for the track, at the start of September, Jethro wrote: "Busy day.. London bound for big meeting tomorrow..
"Looking forward to seeing Sarah Sozzle Harding Harding as the lead in Ghost in Bristol Monday then catch up at Turtle bay after for dinner and cocktails and catch up and talk our awesome new Single! Good times! Boom! xx"

Following some difficult first reviews of Sarah’s stage debut in Ghost The Musical over the weekend, the singer is hoping the track will prove her critics wrong.
The song will follow her debut solo single, Threads, which was released in August 2015.
