Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s relationship is on the rocks as she fears the actor’s using her for fame

TAYLOR SWIFT and Tom Hiddleston are the rocks due to the singer’s wish to keep their relationship private.

The US superstar, 26, has been dating the Night Manager hunk since June, but they’ve yet to make an official public appearance together.

Tom is keen for them to become a Hollywood power couple but Taylor disagrees, which has caused a rift between them.

She is now becoming increasingly worried Tom, who has been tipped to replace Daniel Craig as 007, is using to the relationship to boost his own profile.

An insider: “Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private.

“Tom’s need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable.

“She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons.

“Taylor is an independent young woman and doesn’t feel like she needs a boyfriend to make her feel complete.”

The pair have not been photographed together since July having been seemingly inseparable during the early days of their relationship.

The Sun shocked the showbiz world in June by revealing they had become an item, having met at the star-studded MET Gala in May where they were snapped together on the dance floor.

Taylor was dating superstar DJ Calvin Harris at the time and they split weeks later.

However, despite the excessive declarations of love, most notably Tom being pictured wearing a “I heart TS” vest during a July 4 weekend celebrations in Taylor’s hometown of Rhode Island, the cracks are clearly starting to appear.

Reports in the US overnight claim Tom is sick of being Taylor’s “glorified escort” and fears he’s becoming a “laughingstock” due to Taylor’s reluctance to be seen at a public event together.

She’s never been on a red carpet with a boyfriend in her career and Tom is getting frustrated with her continued reluctance.

A source told : “Tom is just done with it.

“It bothers him so much that they’ve become known as this fauxmance laughingstock.”
