EMMERDALE actor Kelvin Fletcher has announced the birth of his first child with a touching social media post.
The star, best known for playing Andy Sugden on the ITV soap for 20 years, wrote on his Twitter account: "Our hearts are filled with love. She's the most beautiful little thing I've ever seen"
A picture of his daughter is yet to be seen, but his wife Eliza Marsland, shared an Instagram snap of pink flowers with fans.
She added: "Everything pink for the little cherub #bestfeeling in the world!"
The 32-year-old small screen favourite recently appeared on ITV's Loose Women to speak about leaving the long-running soap.

He was joined by heavily pregnant Eliza on the way to the studios - with a packed hospital bag, in case she went into labour.
He wrote: "En route to #London with @eliza_marsland We even have the hospital bag with us, just in cast Baby Fletch decides to come early!"
While on Loose Women, Kelvin revealed the couple were in the dark over the baby's sex.
He said: "It's our first one, we don't know what it is yet so we're excited to find out if we're having a boy or a girl."
