Bradley Hunt denies X Factor chicken row was fake as he confirms he auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent with another poultry-themed performance
BRADLEY Hunt has dismissed claims his X Factor chicken row with pal Ottavio Columbro was a publicity stunt.
The pair hit headlines this weekend after they were accused of faking a row over uncooked poultry during their X Factor try-out.
The pair's X Factor audition this weekend was full of drama as they fell out over a chicken dinner.
Fans were not convinced by the drama and many believed the pair had made the story up in a bid to get more air time.
However, the singers have now dismissed the fakery claims in an interview with The Sun Online.
When asked about the chicken incident, the singers insisted the story was real.
Bradley insisted the row was simply the "final straw" for him after weeks of bad behaviour by his friend, and revealed they recently fell out over another food-related matter involving a plate of chips.
During his chat with The Sun Online, Bradley also revealed he previously auditioned for Britain's Got Talent with another poultry-themed performance.
We previously revealed Bradley is a reality TV regular, and has appeared on shows including Coach Trip, Strip Date and How To Pull.
As well as previously auditioning for X Factor, he tried out for BGT, and he has now told us that chicken also played a big part in that try-out.
He sang a song he had written himself called Side Order, which was themed around chicken dishes including nuggets and wings.
During a Facebook Live session with The Sun Online, Bradley confirmed he previously appeared on BGT.
He said: "Oh yeah Britain's Got Talent, yeah, it was solo..."
Ottavio then revealed it was another chicken-themed audition, saying: "He did his own song, Side Order about chicken nuggets..."
The pair then laughed at the coincidence, exclaiming: "It's food, we just love food!"
Bradley then opened about his chicken song, revealing it was actually a poignant love song about relationships.
He said: "It was about being a side order - don't be a chicken wing - I'm always the bit on the side."
He released the song last year, and made it available to stream or download online.
The pair's X Factor audition this weekend became a huge talking point among viewers.
Ottavio auditioned solo, but told the judges Bradley should have been with him, but they had a huge row.
He burst into tears as he told the he was angry with Bradley for serving him chicken that was not cooked all the way through.
The judges persuaded him to rekindle his friendship with Bradley, who was then brought in front of the cameras by host Dermot O'Leary.
The pair then made up and performed Pussycat Dolls song Buttons.
During The Sun Online's chat with the pair, Bradley also admitted he currently works in an American diner-style restaurant and fears it may be shut down after his poor cooking skills were revealed to the nation.
He said: "I am the restaurant manager. I'm a bit worried it's going to get closed down now..."
Ottavio also urged fans to take care when cooking chicken, and insisted the chef should always get a thank you.
He said: "Make sure you cook your chicken thoroughly and always say please and thank you - he didn't have to cook for me -
They also opened up about their relationship, insisting they are not a couple, but have kissed several times in the past.
Bradley said: "We shared a kiss at a theme party - on Halloween... we're not each others types."
