He added: "A camera crew was following me from the pool, dripping wet, p***ed out of my brains, falling into bushes all the way back to the hotel. They were egging me on to do all sorts!"

Ryan also insisted that he only auditioned for the show for "a bit of a laugh" because he knew his lack of talent.

Simon Cowell and co has attempted to bring back the show's glory days this year after a lacklustre 2015 - with the all-star panel of judges including Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.

However, bosses have come under fire after only two weeks on air after several liked contestants from previous years made an unexpected return to the audition room, and auditionees have put spoilers on their social media pages hinting at their fate on the show.

Ryan claimed that this is because a lot of the talent is now found on the show and invited to audition, instead of the early days when fans would queue for hours for their shot at stardom.

Ryan told the site: "I just think that's why people are saying it's so fixed! It's not just like Joe Bloggs has just turned up off the street, lucky and won it. It's people they've had in their mind for the past eight months that the shows been off. I wouldn't even be surprised if they knew who was going to be on the live shows before the show even begins!"
