Kerry Katona shows off new £45k car after ‘traumatic’ robbery of her £110k Range Rover
KERRY Katona has revealed her brand new car after her £110k Range Rover was stolen during a shopping trip last month.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse at her new motor – a Volkswagen Tiguan, which start at £45k.
Telling her followers she is only renting the car, Kerry wrote: “Omg thank you, thank you, thank you sooooo much!! @faster_car_finance_ltd.
“Honestly it’s been a rough month but you guys have been absolutely amazing helping me sort out a car 🚗🙏.
“Just to be clear this isn’t my car! I’m renting one for the time being from these guys who have been so amazing helping me xxxx.”
Last month Kerry was left traumatised as she and her youngest daughters Heidi, 14, and seven-year-old DJ watched as thieves made off with her blue Range Rover during a shopping trip in Oldham.
The former Atomic Kitten singer opened up about the experience in her column for new! this week, revealing the police told her she’d been targeted.
Kerry said: “I tried to run after the car but I had Heidi and DJ with me. They were crying, screaming, it was awful.
“Heidi is still traumatised and I’m so shaken up. I can’t believe how everything fell apart like that.”
Just a week after her ordeal Kerry was in for more upset as fiance Ryan Mahoney’s Mercedes was stolen from the drive of her £1.9m Cheshire mansion.
Revealing that she believes the two crimes were connected, Kerry told her Instagram followers: “So they’ve stolen Ryan‘s car off our drive last night!! Mercedes C63S!! They’ve been to my home. I’m in bits!!
“Please if you know anything please ring the police. Two cars in 11 days! I’ve been watched and followed. I don’t feel safe! Absolutely heartbroken!”
Kerry also revealed having the cars stolen had made think twice about relocating to Cheshire.
She added: “Kind of really regretting moving up north now to be honest. Not good.”
