Ex Emmerdale star Adam Thomas shares hilarious snap of kids Teddy and Elsie interrupting his bath
FORMER Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has revealed the reality of attempting to enjoy some me-time as a dad.
The soap actor, 33, who quit the ITV tea-time show in 2017 to star in panto, is proud parent to son Teddy and daughter Elsie-Rose.
On his Instagram page he gave a glimpse of family life as he sat naked in a cream bathtub with stone-panelled walls.
Adam clutched his daughter close to his chest while toddler Teddy, both of whom he shares with wife Caroline Daly, clambered on his back.
In the caption, Adam wrote: "Nothing quite like a peaceful bath … said no parent ever 😂😂😂
"Wouldn’t have it any other way… ❤️ or would you 🤔? lol.
"Good morning people have a great day x"
His fans shared the joke, with one writing: "Brilliant ❤️ spot on definitely in my house xx"

ON SCREEN CAREER
Adam shot to fame in 2006 playing Donte Charles in BBC drama Waterloo Road.
After he quit, he joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2009 playing Adam Barton.
His storylines have seen him suffer a breakdown and commit arson after John Barton, the man he believed was his father, died.
He presented the 2019 series of I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, alongside former contestants Emily Atack and Joel Dommett.
Before landing the role he appeared on the 2016 series of I'm A Celebrity and placed third in the competition.
The Sun revealed Adm quit Emmerdale in 2017 because he wanted to star in panto — but the soap’s bosses said no.
Adam was offered £100,000 for one panto role and was understandably keen to accept.
But chiefs at ITV told him he could not juggle his day job as soap bad boy Adam with the gig, having already had a lengthy stint off work for his appearance on I'm a Celeb.
He jokingly slammed soap bosses online, saying that his salary "wasn't far off" that of a Tesco employee.
