LOVE STRUCK

Hollywood stars’ crushes – from Emma Watson’s lust for wizard co-star to secret admirers Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves

THE path to true love never did run smooth, and it seems even the most popular A-List celebrities have unrequited romantic feelings from time to time.

It's especially likely on set, with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, 32, the latest to admit to a co-star crush - on Helena Bonham Carter, now 55, who played Bellatrix Lestrange.

Reading out a note he once sent to the actress, he said: “I do love you and I wish I’d just been born 10 years earlier so I might’ve been in with a chance.”

And he wasn’t the only one who liked a fellow cast member, with actor Matthew Lewis, 32, who played Neville Longbottom, saying: “There were endless crushes, people were going out with each other, breaking up.”

Here, we take a look at the other high-profile actors who've admitted to having a crush on their co-stars...

Emma Watson - 'I fell in love with Tom Felton'

It's perhaps not surprising the number of Harry Potter stars who fell for each other considering the amount of time the main cast spent together filming all eight films.

Hermione Granger actress Emma Watson, now 31, confessed when she was 11 she had a crush on Draco Malfroy star Tom Felton, 34, who was 14 at the time.

Speaking ahead of the anniversary TV special, she said: "I just fell in love with him.

"I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day.

But it seems in real life, actors David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston also had a bit of a thing for each other at one point.

Sadly, while nothing happened, during the HBO Friends reunion, Schwimmer revealed that during the show’s debut season, he “had a major crush on Jen”.

He added: “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary."

Jennifer later confirmed his feelings were reciprocated, saying: “I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no.”
