Myleene Klass opens up about sleepless night after youngest daughter loses first tooth

Little Hero, five, keeps waking up to see if the tooth fairy has been to visit her

MYLEENE Klass has taken to social media to reveal her latest parenting struggle after her youngest daughter, Hero, lost a tooth.

At 11:51pm the single mum of two tweeted to her 475,000 followers: “Desperate to go to sleep but my 5yo just lost her first tooth and keeps waking u to see if the ‘tooth fairy’ has been (she hasn’t!).”

She illustrated the tweet with an emoji of a monkey with its hands over its eyes as well as an anguished face.

Followers were quick to offer advice to the tired mum, with one responding: “Tell her the fairy won’t come til she’s fast asleep. I’ve been there!!!”

Another suggested: “Try putting it in an envelope on the mantle piece.”

Almost half an hour later Myleene returned with an update, tweeting: “Third attempt. Success. #toothfairy”, adding a celebratory dancing woman emoji.

The tooth troubles come after the 38-year-old presenter, who shares Hero and nine-year-old Ava with ex-husband Graham Quinn, was spotted looking frustrated as Hero threw a temper tantrum in the street.

The little girl threw her head back, stomped her feet and cried as her big sister looked on, bemused.

Myleene was spotted with her hands on her hips, looking unimpressed with the youngster’s behaviour.

Hopefully her visit from the tooth fairy will cheer her up.
