EASTENDERS viewers were left wide-eyed as Mark Fowler Junior and Courtney Mitchell confessed to having the hots for one another unaware that they are really half-brother and sister.

The shocking moment came during a game of truth or dare at Shakil Kazemi’s 16th birthday party.

Courtney pushed the hunky newcomer for an answer over whether or not he fancied her when he came over all shy.

As chants for the pair to “snog, snog, snog” got louder and louder from the other guests, it looked like it might actually happen.

However a fight between Mark and Shakil scuppered any chance of romance… for now.

It wasn’t until a pep talk from Sharon Mitchell who encouraged him to go after the “mystery girl” he had his eye on however that he decided to take action.

Ironically, unsuspecting Shaz had earlier been dithering as to whether or not she should tell Mark the truth about Grant – Courtney’s father – also being his dad.

When she later found out from Louise Mitchell that it was Court, she rushed off with Ian to try and stop them before anything could happen.

But unable to find them, are they too late?
