I wasn’t surprised by Katie Price’s drink drive shame and thought ‘here we go again’ says ex Kieran Hayler
KATIE Price's ex-husband Kieran Hayler has spoken out about her drink-drive crash for the first time.
He told The Sun tonight: “When I saw she had been arrested I thought, oh no, not again", adding: "It is just always so much drama."
Katie, 43 - who shares Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, with Kieran - was yesterday sentenced to a 16-week suspended jail term.
She was also handed 100 hours unpaid community service and a two-year driving ban after flipping her BMW on a country lane in September.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Kieran, 34, said that while the drama was a case of 'here we go again' the drugs and booze did shock him.
He said: "I was shocked about the drugs and the drinking of course. It is one of the most serious things you can get done for on the road, other than killing someone. It is so serious."
Kieran has insisted he want former glamour model Katie to step up, turn her life around and be a great mum to their kids.
He said: “Kate has to understand what she has done is wrong and that there are consequences to her actions.

“We both as parents have to bring our children up to learn they should not break the law and that if they do break the law, it is the law and it has consequences."
He added: “I think she is turning her life around and I hope that she can, I really do. I’m not here to slag Kate off, I want her to be the best mum she can be to the children.
“All Katie can be is the best version of herself when she is around them.”
In court, District Judge Amanda Kelly told Katie: "Unlike you not everyone has the luxury of putting themselves into the Priory clinic when their lives get hard.”
She went on to say Katie’s driving record was "absolutely appalling" and called her actions "incredibly selfish".
Katie said: "When you chose to get behind the wheel that night you showed no concern for others.
"You could have killed somebody. Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time.
"You knowingly and deliberately flouted a court order and not for the first time. You seem to think you are above the law.”

She pleaded guilty to the charges on September 29, a day after crashing her Range Rover on the B2135 near Partridge Green.
This morning Katie issued fans a grovelling apology, saying: "I'm grateful nobody was hurt".
She wrote on Instagram: "I would like to thank my family - my children, my mum dad, sister, brother, my partner Carl, Leigh and my friends who have supported me throughout these past few months.
"It's been a really difficult time and I'm incredibly sorry for my actions. I'm sincerely grateful nobody was hurt.
"I realise the damage my actions could have caused, not only to another family, but to my own as well.
"I'm now spending time getting better. Mental health is a hidden illness and can strike at any time.
"The triggers that cause my anxiety and behaviour are something I'm trying to understand, come to terms with and learn to control moving forward.
"This will be a long process for myself and something I'll continue to work on for the rest of my life.
"It's also something I can work on with my family so we can progress onto a new chapter together.
"Thank you for all the messages of goodwill that I've received. I'm going to surround myself with my loving family and friends and continue doing the work I love as it brings me enjoyment and helps my mental health.
