Geordie Shore’s Scotty T shows his support for Chris Brown following his arrest for assault with a deadly weapon
He was joined by singer Bruno Mars who also took to Twitter to show they were on his side
GEORDIE Shore star Scotty T has taken to Twitter to show his support for singer Chris Brown.
The reality TV star wrote a very simple “#FREECHRISBROWN” shortly after the singer was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Brown, 27, was involved in an 11-hour standoff with police at his Los Angeles mansion who were called there after beauty queen alleged the star had pointed a gun at her head.
Brown allegedly shouted “come and get me” and threw a bag containing guns, drugs and other weapons out of a window having barricaded himself inside his home, surrendering only after cops got a search warrant.
According to Los Angeles County jail records, the pop star was released from custody at around 11:15pm local time after posting $250,000 bail.
According to TMZ, the stand-off was sparked by a 911 call at around 3am on Tuesday in which Curran claimed she was admiring a piece of jewellery when Brown and a friend "went nuts."
Curran, the winner of Miss California Regional 2016, alleges the singer demanded she "get the f*** out" and pointed a gun at her.
And Scotty wasn’t the only celebrity who was hoping Brown would be released after singer Bruno Mars also took to his Twitter page and wrote: “Prayin for ya @chrisbrown we need ya.”
