‘HE WAS CRUEL AND NASTY’: Denise Welch slams Loose Women for playing down Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear’s antics in the house
She took to Twitter as she also questioned his £250,000 prize money
DENISE Welch has slammed Loose Women for playing down Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen’s Bear’s behaviour in the house.
The former panellist on the show also questioned his £250,000 prize money as she claimed that celebrities normally just got a fee to appear.
Taking to Twitter last night, she wrote: “How come Bear got £250k for wining CBB? There was never a prize before. Just the fee.”
And taking a swipe at her former show, she added: “I also hate that on Loose Women, his behaviour was described as 'naughty'. No. It was antagonistic, cruel and nasty. #short memories."
Stephen was a guest on Loose Women yesterday and during his interview he got flirty with Katie Price and Sherrie Hewson.
Sherrie told him she would have spanked him for his naughty behaviour and he joked about starting a family with Katie.
Denise, 58, was a regular panellist on Loose Women before she quit in 2013 after she disagreed with changes to the show which were brought in by new ITV Daytime boss Helen Warner.

“I just want someone to say, ‘You done really well’, because the whole nation has watched me and gone, ‘Do you know what, he’s actually alright.’ And not one person has said congratulations and that’s all I want.”
