Louis walsh explains why Nicole Scherzinger is different from Cheryl Cole and Rita Ora
'There's nobody better than Nicole'
LOUIS Walsh has revealed why he thinks that Nicole Scherzinger differs from former The X Factor judges Cheryl and Rita Ora, saying that she has a "great voice".
The talent show premiered last Saturday, which saw the pair join Sharon Osborne and Simon Cowell for this year's judges line-up.
Dermot O'Leary is also back hosting the show, with Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmonson co-hosting The Xtra Factor.
When asked what Nicole has that Cheryl and Rita Ora don't, he said: "I'll tell you what she's got - a great voice."
He added: "She's got 'it', whatever 'it' is. She's got it all. She can sing, she can dance."
Speaking to , he also said that "she works really hard": "She takes it really seriously. There's nobody better than Nicole."
They also revealed that they had already picked their final three contestants.
Nicole said: "I'm very competitive. If you don't put everything into it why do it?"
And her former mentee Rylan piped up, saying that he'd be backing her to win: "I'm team Sherzy until I die. But I do need to say this show is nothing without Louis. He's older than water - but we love him."
Matt agreed, saying that "this year might be the year of Louis."
