Tulisa plans chart comeback with cover of 90s garage hit Sweet Like Chocolate
The former N-Dubz star will release the track after a two year break
TULISA is set to release new music after a two year silence on the airwaves.
The former N-Dubz singer has planned her chart comeback with a cover of the 90s garage hit by Shanks & Bigfoot, Sweet Like Chocolate.
The track features rapper Akelle of R&B trio WSTRN and is produced by SOS.
Tulisa, 28, said: "I’ve taken the chorus of an old school classic and written around it.
"It’s one of the most loved tracks of the 90s, and one of my favourite songs as a child.
"It was amazing to remake and rewrite a song like 'Sweet Like Chocolate', it feels like a good way to come back."
She told the publication about how she's changed over the last few years: "I’m a lot more relaxed and I think that has to do with being a lot more at peace with myself, more relaxed with who I am.
"I know it’s really clichéd to talk about self-love but after the few years that I’ve had, I can actually say yes to an extent, I am a lot more at ease with myself and comfortable in my own skin."
