‘Princess needs to get posing out of her system before she goes back to school’ says worried dad Peter Andre
His comment comes just a week after mum Katie Price is slammed for letting her nine-year-old go on Instagram
PETER Andre says he is hoping that his daughter Princess will get “posing” out of her system by the time she gets to secondary school.
The little girl is often pictured pouting for the camera, even though she is only nine.
Dad Pete, 43, told New! Magazine he hopes it is just a phase, saying: “Well I hope she gets it out of her system because she’ll be going to the nunnery at 16.”
But the father-of-three said that he is happy for her to enjoy herself for the time being: “I’m letting them (Princess and son Junior) have their little fun at the moment but then it’s back to school.”
He also said he wasn’t happy when Princess admitted she had a boyfriend
He told Loose Women: “Yeah, well, I’m not having it.
“I’ll allow her to befriend a priest.”
Meanwhile, last week her mum Katie Price, 38, sparked a parenting debate online after fans slammed the star for setting up Instagram accounts for her kids.
The former glamour model has given Junior and Princess their own social media pages, but followers have accused the star of putting the youngsters in the firing line.
Katie shared the news yesterday, revealing both Junior, 11, and her daughter, now have open Instagram accounts.
But she insisted she has set down some ground rules.
In a post on her own page, she wrote: “My baby boy has asked me for 3 years for Instagram so I’ve allowed it but I’m keeping my eye and have passwords.
“Now my beautiful Princess has driven me mad for Instagram but I said I’ll be vetting lol…”
However, the move has divided fans, with many accusing Katie of thrusting her kids into the spotlight too early.
Others also suggested the youngsters’ accounts should be private to avoid getting swamped with nasty comments.
One wrote in a post on Katie’s page: “No this is wrong. Does he know those 2000 + people.
“Dangerous game you’re playing with your kids lives… Read the stories of the dangers of Internet and social media a kids [sic].
“Wrong on every level and your courting people to follow them and view their profiles. Think hard about this.”
Another fan insisted that the world of social media is too cruel for kids so young, writing: “Bad idea for so many reasons!
“It’s a big bad world out there and there’s plenty of app for kids social media is not a world that children should be involved in…”
One posted: “Katie u have enough money in the bank. Why are u doing this to your kids. Very sad…” another wrote: “I thought you were smarter!…
“What a massive disappointment!”
