X Factor fans rage as they grow sick of all the sob stories on the show

Viewers are no longer moved by the crying scenes on the show

X FACTOR viewers have slammed the show for showing too many sob stories in tonight’s episode.

Simon Cowell’s prime-time talent show returned to our screens tonight and quickly got back into its usual format of having contestants pour their hearts out to the judges.

Christian Burrows had them in tears after singing a song about his dead brother, Caitlyn Vanbeck spoke being bullied, James Wilson revealed his struggles with dyslexia, and teacher Melissa Pedro lamented the fact that her husband works offshore for months on end.

But many X Factor viewers just weren’t buying into the emotion and complained that they were tired of the tears.

“Why does almost everyone on the X factor ALWAYS have a sob story”, said one viewer, while another added, “Cue the many many sob stories and oh I was bullied as a kid stories.....it's the return of #XFactor”

Others just want the competition to be about singing, starting: “First dyslexia, now bullying what's the next sob story…JUST SING YOUR SONG AND LEAVE ffs” and “The sob stories just take away from the fact how well people can sing”

And one fan slammed the sob stories as “foolish”, tweeting: “So is this what X Factor about ? Making the judges cry for Yes's ? Foolish”

Viewers may have not been fans of the tears, but they still worked for the judges who put through every person who had a sob story.
