STEPHEN Bear might have been the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, but to him there was only one person worthy of praise - his beloved mum.
The loudmouth was crowned the champion of the Channel 5 show on Friday night - and staying true to his cheeky chappy character joked around with Emma and Rylan as the pair tried to interview him on his exit.
However, Bear, who split viewers and housemates alike, showed off his softer side only when his mum was mentioned.
Fans saw the Ex on the Beach hunk break down last night as his mum appeared for an interview inside the Celebrity Big Brother house and mentioned how proud she was of him.
Tonight, Bear teared up again as he was questioned on why the comments affected him so much.
On spin-off show Big Brother's Bit on the Side, he got teary-eyed again as he told Rylan: "Let's talk about my mum. I love her with all my heart. I was crying my heart out like a little baby.
"My mum...I've got two brothers and a sister, and I love them with all my heart. But my mum... she done her best in a bad environment."
He then added: "She works very hard, like SO hard. And now I can think 'do you know what? I'm gonna treat her.
"She ain't been out in about... every mother's day she goes out and that's it. And to see her looking as well as she does at 63...
"She doesn't like telly. She hates it. She hates telly, and I see her...and when you start talking about me she sort of stood up and went 'that's my son' ...I just broke down."
The Ex on the Beach star beat fellow contestants Renee Graziano, Aubrey O’Day, Marnie Simpson, Ricky Norwood and Frankie Grande in the final showdown of Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night.
While keeping calm and collected when he left the house – he immediately ran to his in-house fling Chloe Khan for a snog as she stood with the other ex-housemates.
Maintaining a less-than humble attitude, he said to the crowd: “Told ya!”
Ricky came in 2nd, Renee came 3rd, Marnie came 4th, Aubrey came 5th and Frankie came 6th.
In his exit interview, he told Emma Willis that he knew he would win after being put up for every nomination during his time in the house.
He said: “When you believe you are gonna win something, you’re gonna win. It’s called positivity – it works!”
