Spice Girls hold secret talks about 2023 reunion – and Victoria Beckham has not been ruled out
SPICE Girls Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell have held top-secret talks about a world tour.
The girl group, who toured the UK as a foursome in 2019, plan to reunite for gigs expected to begin in 2023.
Baby Spice Emma, Scary Spice Mel B and Ginger Spice Geri were spotted arriving at the Mandeville Hotel in London’s Marylebone for talks on Friday.
It is understood Sporty Spice Mel C, who is in LA, appeared via Zoom.
But Posh Spice Victoria was absent, with sources saying the rest were still trying to encourage her to appear at one show.
Speculation about a reunion has been rife this year after Mel B teased she was hopeful the girls would tour again.
But last week’s secret meeting is the first confirmation that plans are being made.
Insiders said the talks came after Spice Girls fan Adele urged Mel B to tour when she appeared as a special guest at her Audience With show, which airs next Sunday.
One said: “The four girls have been discussing a world tour for a while, and this — very confidential — meeting was put in the diary so they could iron out the final details.
“The current plan is the tour will begin in Australia and go from there.

"They are all very excited that the wheels are now in motion, and are hoping to give their fans a 2023 tour bigger and better than 2019.
“And one person who will definitely be in the audience is Adele.
"She is a real superfan, and told Mel seeing the girls in 2019 made her year.”
The group, who celebrate their 25th anniversary this month, performed their last world tour as a five-piece from 2007 to 2008.
Mel C told last month how they were working on getting Victoria on stage.
But the fashion designer is said to be determined to put her business and personal brand first.
