SURROUNDED by casinos, strip clubs and novelty hotels, Las Vegas isn't quite the place to go for a traditional white wedding.
Yet 'Sin City' is a surprisingly popular destination for celebs looking to tie the knot... often with disastrous consequences.
Katie Price, 43, will be hoping saying ‘I do’ in Nevada will bring her luck in her fourth marriage as she weds toyboy lover Carl Woods, 32.
Exclusive pictures obtained by The Sun showed the couple with their marriage licence and the mum-of-five necking two Cosmopolitans in 20 minutes at a nearby casino
According to a clerk, Katie joked: “Ooh, signing our life away,” before raising her right hand to swear the information she told the registrar was truthful.
It’s not known when they will marry or how but Vegas is known for its wide range of offerings - including singing Elvis impersonators, pirate ship weddings and more.
Former glamour model Katie will be joining a long list of celebrities who have tied the knot there - here are the ones you may have forgotten.
Lily Allen and David Harbour
Lily Allen, 36, and Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 46, pulled out all the stops when they tied the knot last year.
They said ‘I do’ in the celebrity-friendly Graceland Wedding Chapel and were treated to a performance by Brendan Paul, one of the strip’s most famous Elvis impersonators.
Shortly after the ceremony, the newlyweds ditched a traditional sit down meal to visit popular chain In-N-Out Burger with Lily's daughters, Marnie and Ethel.
It seemed Lily wasn’t concerned about spilling sauce or grease on her expensive Dior blazer dress or veil as she tucked into a juicy cheeseburger.
On their one-year anniversary, Lily wrote on Instagram: “I prefer my life with you in it. You can stay.”
Another snap from the happy couple’s big day, showed David holding his wife in the air as they grinned at the camera alongside Elvis, who gave a thumbs-up.
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander
Britney Spears’ life has been far from easy and drama-free and it seemed her wedding would be no different.
The morning after tying the knot to her childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in 2004, it was claimed “all hell broke loose” because the singer’s mum wasn’t told.
It was annulled 55 hours after the 4am ceremony as it was claimed Britney “lacked understanding of her actions”.
Divorce lawyer Mark Goldberg told the Daily Mail it was the performer’s “idea to get married” and they “hadn’t been drinking or doing drugs” as some had alleged.
Ex-husband Jason recalled them renting a lime green limo for the ceremony and claimed they consummated their marriage on the vehicle's backseats.
Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev
Strictly Come Dancing fans are used to seeing the professionals and their celebrity partners hook-up but few make it past the one year mark.
However, Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev have certainly broken that mould - welcoming their second daughter Noa earlier this week.
They met on the BBC show back in 2013 but refuted claims they were a product of the notorious ‘Strictly curse’.
The 35-year-old previously said her marriage to ex Jamie Gilbert was on the rocks and ended because they weren’t “right together”.
The Countdown star and her Strictly beau, 41, officially became an item one year after dancing together and by 2019 announced they were expecting their first daughter, Maven.
One month later, they fled to Vegas for a secret wedding service in front of a painted wall with the word love on it and a lectern decorated with his and hers crowns and heart.
On the big day, Rachel opted for a short white with pink patterned dress to show off her baby bump and Pasha wore a blue blazer, white shirt and cream trousers.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas
Ahead of getting married in 2019, Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner hinted that she wanted a no-thrills wedding and wanted to “keep it as low-key as possible”.
The 25-year-old and singer Joe Jonas, 32, headed to the Little White Chapel - best known for shotgun weddings.
In front of an Elvis impersonator, who was dressed in a red sparkly suit, they exchanged vows and shared their happy news on Instagram.
Sophie wore a custom-made white Louis Vuitton dress with a full skirt and Joe was dressed in a grey suit.
Later, the singer revealed they had a small number of attendees, including Joe's brothers Nick and Kevin, because it was their “legal marriage” before having “a real big one”.
“It was either the courthouse, or our version, and I preferred our version. Friends, Elvis and Ring Pops,” he told Bazaar.com.
Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon
Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has been married five times and appears to favour tying the knot in Vegas as she’s said ‘I do’ there twice to the same guy.
She first got hitched to her longtime friend Rick Salomon – who made a fortune selling a sex tape of himself and Paris Hilton – at The Mirage Hotel in 2007
White petals were scattered around the 3,000ft room and Sade’s 1992 hit No Ordinary Love was played during the service.
Playboy icon Pam wore a minidress while Rick donned a black tuxedo and one of his signature black beanie hats for the 90-minute ceremony.
However, four months later the couple had their marriage annulled citing “irreconcilable differences”.
In 2014, they wed there again after months of Pam previously claiming they were just “friends with benefits”.
Pam told E! News: “We’re very happy, our families are very happy and that’s all that matters.”
Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman
Scary Movie actress Carmen Electra and her basketballer boyfriend Dennis Rodman joined the roster of celebrities who got hitched in Vegas, back in 1998.
But nine days later, Dennis filed for an annulment, claiming he was not of sound mind when he made the decision.
It followed reports from People magazine, which claimed the ceremony happened after “an all-night bender” in Sin City.
Dennis and Carmen reconciled and tried to fix things but a year later filed for divorce amid spiralling claims of infidelity throughout their marriage.
The couple denounced allegations - including him being caught in bed with two women and her being linked to Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee - as “all lies”.
“Every day it’s something about her or me and it’s hard on the marriage,” Dennis told Newsweek.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore
Fans were shocked when Hollywood A-listers Bruce Willis and Demi Moore revealed they had run away together and secretly got hitched in Las Vegas back in 1987.
After dating for just three months, they married at the Golden Nugget hotel and the ceremony was hosted by Reverend Charolette Richards.
She didn’t recognise the couple and it was far from her first celebrity wedding.
Previously Rev Richards had married Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, Michael Jordan and Juanita, Judy Garland and Sid Luft.
Later they had a second ceremony in Los Angeles with their famous friends but it wasn’t to be and the couple divorced in 2000.
Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike
National Treasure actor Nicolas Cage, 57, seems to be quite the fan of a wedding in Sin City as he’s tied the knot there at least twice.
The extremely secretive star got hitched to Erika Koike in 2019 but their marriage lasted only four days before Nicolas filed for an annulment.
He claimed to have been “too drunk” to have consented and later told The New York Times Magazine that he was “pretty upset” about how it ended.
Despite his marriage to Erika in Vegas ending badly, it seemed he wasn’t scarred from the experience as he married there again in February this year.
He had a lavish ceremony with Riko Shibata, who is 30 years his junior, at the Wynn Hotel in front of a beautiful leafy backdrop that was lit up with candles.
Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton
With Angelina Jolie dressed in a green cut-off T-shirt and Billy Bob Thornton in a trucker hat, it looked more like they were leaving a movie set than a wedding venue.
The pair had just got hitched after a two-month whirlwind romance in 2000 but many had their doubts.
Even Reverend Jim Hamilton, who officiated the ceremony, said he didn’t think they “had really planned it out for long”.
“I think it was a spur of a moment deal but I’m not sure,” he told the in 2015.

The couple, who had a 20 year age gap, were married for two years before separating and getting divorced in 2003.
Angelina was married to Brad Pitt from 2014 until 2019 and Billy, who tied the knot to Connie Angland in 2014, has remained with her ever since.
