Katie Price forced to ditch son Harvey as Carl Woods’s best man after flying to Vegas without him

KATIE Price has been forced to scrap having her son Harvey as Carl Woods' best man after flying to Las Vegas to tie the knot.

The 43-year-old had hoped her eldest son would be by Carl’s side for the big day but a sudden change in wedding plans has scuppered that.

Katie flew out to Vegas this week and was seen picking up her wedding licence today ahead of the quickie wedding.

A source said: "Sadly, they couldn't take Harvey out of school and with them to Vegas - it's too much of a disruption to his routine.

“Katie was sad but he can be best man at their UK celebration.”

Harvey is currently living in residential care in Cheltenham where he can learn to become independent.

The teen has a series of physical and learning disabilities including autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome and partial blindness.

The mum-of-five always tries to maintain Harvey’s strict routine as much as possible to try and minimise his outbursts and tantrums.

Any changes or unfamiliar places make Harvey very upset because of his autism and see him fly into a tailspin of bad behaviour.

Harvey, 19, has developed a very close bond to Carl since he has been with Katie and was expected to play a pivotal role in the wedding.

"They have such a close relationship, and Harvey absolutely idolises Carl,” a source told Magazine.

“Obviously, Katie wants all of her children involved. Junior and Jett will be ushers, while Princess and Bunny will be bridesmaids - but it would mean the world to her to see Harvey standing at the altar as Carl's best man.”

They added that Katie has “every faith” that Harvey would do an amazing job with his best man’s speech and could “leave everyone in tears”.

Katie is currently facing a possible prison sentence next month after pleading guilty to drink driving while disqualified and taking drugs after a crash near her home in Sussex in September.
