‘Evil’ £800k burglary is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, says tearful Molly-Mae Hague

MOLLY-Mae Hague has revealed her heartbreak over the "evil" £800k burglary at the apartment she shared with Tommy Fury.

The 22-year-old broke down in tears telling fans: “It was without a doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to me.”

The devastated star has now vowed to not share so much with her legion of fans – and has said she will not be showing them around her new place.

Discussing the incident for the first time, Molly-Mae said: “Tommy and I were actually robbed. It was without a doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to me - to us I'd probably say - and it was just awful, horrendous, terrible. So we've been dealing with a lot.

”Our apartment was robbed, ransacked, emptied, you name it. What they said in the articles was true, they took everything. We were left with not a lot of stuff at all.

'I've been dealing with emotions I didn't think I'd be dealing with at a time like this, like feeling guilt. I never thought if I was ever to be robbed I'd be feeling guilty.

'”But I think seeing a lot of the things on social media and seeing a lot of people's opinions about why we got robbed I started to think 'god was this my fault? Did I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?'”

Over-sharing

She continued: “That's another thing I want to talk about in this video: how things are going to have to change now. At the end of the day, with a job like mine, my job is to literally share my life, that's how I make a living.

“I share every aspect of my life with you, things I buy, where I live, what I do with my boyfriend, where I'm going, it's really hard to find that balance of sharing - so that you guys want to keep up with my life and see what I'm doing - but then also keeping my life private so that I stay safe.”

Molly-Mae, who rose to fame on Love Island, added: “I think I potentially lost that balance. Karma will come for the people that did it. It's evil.”

Breaking down in tears, Molly went on to reveal how sad she was to be leaving her home – explain how she more upset about that than losing her designer goods.

Losing her 'sanctuary'

“The saddest thing about all of this - I don't know why I'm getting upset - but when I speak about the apartment and moving out of it, that is the saddest part of this whole situation for me,” she said.

“It's not the things that were taken, it's not feeling violated for our space, it's literally the fact we had to leave our apartment.

“That apartment was my happy place. It was my sanctuary. It was so, so, so special to me.

“We were absolutely forced out, we couldn't stay there anymore. Too many people knew where we lived. How can I sleep there at night if ever Tommy goes away? It wouldn't be possible.”

Molly and Tommy vowed never to live in their apartment again after designer clothes and expensive jewellery - thought to be worth £800k - were snatched while they were out.

At the time they were partying in London for the launch of one of her products.
