Joey Essex tackles Shakespeare and Da Vinci as he sits real GCSE exams live
Former Towie star showed his artistic side and did some problem solving for Dan Wootton
JOEY ESSEX has fame and fortune, but there's still something he's desperate to achieve - a decent GCSE grade.
The former Towie star went back to school for his new show Re-Educating Joey Essex in a bid to add some qualifications to his name.
So before he picks up his results along with thousands of teenagers tomorrow, I tested what Joey had learned by setting him some real GCSE questions .
Joey tested his Drama skills and Art knowledge by giving an impassioned performance of Hamlet's To Be or Not To Be speech and trying to identify a series of classic paintings.
Unsurprisingly, Joey wasn't too familiar with Shakespeare or Botticelli.
Asked to name who painted the Mona Lisa, he optimistically replied: "Lisa?"
He also swore he'd seen Van Gogh in Sugar Hut and mistook Edvard Munch's grotesque figure in The Scream for former Towie co-star DIAGS.
Joey also took on actual questions from Maths, Science and Geography papers...and actually managed to get some right.
He said: "I think I did pretty well. I would have got a pass."
On his chances of success in his actual GCSE exams, Joey said: "I'm going to pick up my exam results tomorrow and I'm going to predict myself a B. That's aiming high there."
Re-Educating Joey Essex airs Thursday at 9pm on ITV2.
