Peter Andre reveals he was mistaken for a SUICIDE BOMBER as he tried to hail a London cab

Singer told Loose Women that he found himself in trouble when wearing a hoodie and a backpack late at night

WITH Europe on red alert for potential terror attacks, it seems everyone is under suspicion - even Mr. Nice Guy Peter Andre.

The crooner, 43, appeared on today's Loose Women  where he revealed that he believed he had been mistaken for a suicide bomber.

He said: "I got on the train it was a cold morning I put my trackies on, my hat, my hoodie on, I had my backpack like that [signalling his shoulder].

"I got to London Victoria, stood outside for a cab."

So far his recollection could have been any old morning he was travelling to London for work, but it's what happened next that shocked the panellists and people watching at home.

He explained: "I stood outside London Victoria for a cab.

"One cab had the light on, it went like that [goes off], next one goes past me, next one goes past me...

"By the fourth one, I was like 'is anyone going to stop?', he saw me, he clocked he must have recognised me in some way."

Safely in the back of the car, Pete was given the frightening reason why he hadn't been picked up already - and it wasn't because the previous drivers don't shop at Iceland.

He added: "I got in the back and he said, 'mate word of advice. Don't dress like that. We're not going to stop for ya.'

"I was like 'oh'. And then I dressed like that again the next day."

But despite making light of the situation, his revelation is sure to worry people who are already on edge about national security.

There's been an increased police presence across the UK in the wake of terrorist attacks across Europe over recent months.
