Over the past year the couple have been busy building their dream home in the Essex countryside, after being given permission to demolish the mock-Tudor house.

Mark recently took to social media to show off the progress during a quick trip to the amazing pad with his brother-in-law William Lee-Kemp.

As he recorded the workmen keeping busy in the front garden, he told fans: "We're building a little sleeper wall along here to have plant beds up against it.

"Landscape fully in flow now!"

The telly favourite then decided to show off one of his "favourite rooms" of the whole house - the couple's bedroom.

Mark explained: "The master suite, finally getting done. Sometimes you have to wait for the best."

He added: "We're getting the tiling ready here because this is going to be a steam room sauna, so when I'm getting ready for a Saturday night, I'll be chilling there, getting a little sweat on... waiting for Michelle to get ready most probably."

The property has come a long way since Mark revealed the work that had been done on the pad back in September.

He took fans through the temporary plywood front doors, into the foyer.

The star then moved into the back of the ground floor which showed impressive floor to window ceilings overlooking the couple's expansive garden.

"Now we're choosing paint colours," the radio presenter explained as he showed multiple paint swatches on the wall.

Mark and actress Michelle, 34, have already share their architect's lavish design for the house on Instagram.

They revealed it will be a palatial house complete with an outdoor pool, large sun terrace and sprawling garden.

Construction has taken over a YEAR due to Covid restrictions halting the building process on more than one occasion.
