Emma Bunton claims David Beckham is pushing for wife Victoria to take part in the Spice Girls reunion
Baby Spice says Becks wants Posh back in the band
EMMA Bunton has revealed that Victoria Beckham could be persuaded to join the Spice Girls reunion… by her husband.
Baby Spice said that although Posh has declined, hubby David is all for it.
Emma, along with Mel B and Geri Horner are doing a comeback gig next year – but Vic and Mel C have said they won’t be taking part.
But on today’s This Morning, Em revealed that Becks wants his wife to do it.
Discussing Posh’s reasons for not returning, Emma said: “For a long time she has wished us the best.
“I was talking to her at David's birthday party and he said ‘You've got to do something’.
“Maybe she will change her mind, she does that, who knows.”
Emma did however say that she has already found a potential replacement lined-up… Rylan Clark.
Joking around with showbiz presenter on today’s show, she said:
“I think we need a Posh and (gesturing at Rylan]) we’ve got a Posh…'
Meanwhile, we recently revealed that Mel C could be pursuing legal action.
A source close to Sporty told The Sun: “Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her.

“She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her.
“The other girls are in regular text and phone contact with her.
“There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.”
Fortunately we’ve been told that Geri, Emma and Mel B are carrying on with their idea.
The source said: “The girls are pressing ahead with their reunion plans as they were before.” Mel B recently confirmed herself that the Spice Girls brand is alive and well.
She said on US TV: “We are always going to be Spice Girls. We are definitely going to be doing some concerts.”
Luckily, Mel C is the only one causing them a headache.
Despite her point-blank refusal to take part in the reunion, Posh has given her blessing for the rest of the girls to go ahead.
The source added: “Victoria has told the girls to go for it.
“She’s been really lovely and supportive, which has been a relief to them.”
