Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey hits out at a mystery online stalker who thinks they’re dating
The actress has found the whole situation very scary
ACTRESS Chelsee Healey has hit out at a mystery online stalker who has been harassing her on social media for the last YEAR, The Sun Online can reveal.
The 27-year-old, who is set to star in Hollyoaks in the coming months, lashed out on Twitter claiming a stranger thinks they’re dating.
On Tuesday, the Strictly star posted a series of messages hitting back at the man - before quickly deleting the tweets.
Chelsee said: “Whoever it is has it in their head that I love them and that we are together. It’s very distressing! I can’t ignore any more as they won’t stop.”
Just minutes later she tweeted: “It’s stressing me out now! And very scary! I’ve had someone for the past year stalk me on my Twitter, Instagram, I have had to block countless profiles being made how can I prevent this. @stokiegotgame leave me alone stalker.”
When Chelsee blocks the man, it’s believed he deletes his accounts and sets up new ones under different names.
Meanwhile the star is gearing up for her return to TV – after it was announced she would be playing "tough, gobby and absolutely shameless" Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks.
She will play a distant member of the mouthy family and is set to wreak havoc in Chester when she goes to extreme lengths to make cash, but her arrival doesn't sit well with her relatives.
A spokesperson for the show told the RadioTimes.com: "Tough, gobby and absolutely shameless, Goldie will never back down in a fight and she's always game for a good old-fashioned McQueen scam to make some fast cash.
"Goldie's come to 'Hollyoaks' in the hope of mooching off the family she's scarcely had anything to do with."
However, Goldie won't rock up alone as she's also got her twin sons, whom she had when she was a teen, in tow.
The spokesperson explained: "But one thing she cares more about than making easy money is her twins, Prince and Hunter, who she had in her teens. She'd go to the ends of the earth for her lads and will defend them like a lioness."
Chelsee, meanwhile said she is "thrilled" that she's landed a role in the Channel 4 show but has admitted she was shocked when she was told she was going to portray a young mother.
She said: "I am absolutely thrilled to join Hollyoaks. I've grown up watching it so to be in it is unbelievable. It was an irresistible opportunity, especially to play this character. I can't believe I am playing a mum but the boys are so fantastic to work with and we are all delighted by our new family unit."
