CLAIRE Sweeney rewrote her will the day before she welcomed her son because she was convinced she was going to die in childbirth.
The actress was 43 when she became a first-time mum, and admits she was terrified of suffering life-threatening complications because of her age.
Claire, now 45, gave birth to a little boy named Jackson in 2014 shortly after she split from the tot's father, Daniel Riley.
She was preparing for life as a single mum at the age of 43, and the former Brookside star admits she was overcome with panic the day before the birth.
Claire reveals she was scared of dying so she rewrote her will in a bid to make sure her son was provided for.
She made the revelation during Loose Women today, saying: "I was 43 when I had Jackson and I was convinced I was going to die in childbirth...
"So I rewrote my will the day before I had Jackson just to make sure everything was protected and in place 'cos my will had been written about 10 years ago and things change."

Claire reunited with Daniel just a month after Jackson was born, but the split again last summer.
During the show Claire also revealed that she has been investing her fortune in property to make sure her son is looked after financially if anything happens to her.
She also insisted she doesn't want to be a burden on Jackson when she gets older as she wants him to enjoy his life.
The actress want so to be admitted to a care home for veteran performers in later life so Jackson won't have to look after her.
Claire said: "I can think of nothing better than being there in my sparkly frock old theatre programmes and my son coming around once a week to see me...
"I've prepared financially... I've invested in property... so he will be looked after...
"Jackson's going to be a young man... 'Cos I'm an older mum I want to him to have his freedom, live his life."
