BEALES TO BUST

EastEnders spoiler: Ian Beale’s money problems go from bad to worse after Kathy’s sex romp with Buster

From Jane's spinal injuries to Bobby being locked up in jail, the family-man can't seem to catch a break

IAN Beale's year gets even worse when his financial situation join the list of 'things that have gone horribly wrong in 2o16'.

This week, EastEnders fans will see him and stepson Steven discover that a pop-up burger initiative has failed to boost profits of the family's restaurant, Beales, and there is more bad news when they can't claim on the insurance for a recent break-in.

Yesterday Ian hit the roof when he discovered that his insurance company might not pay out for the restaurant's recent break-in due to a major blunder made by mum Kathy.

The blonde bombshell - who recently came back from the dead - has been having a scandalous affair with fish-monger Buster.

And as the pair are having their fling on the down-low, they had no choice but to secretly meet up for sex in Ian's restaurant– but sneaky Kathy got things started by turning a CCTV camera away to ensure that they weren't caught.

However, completely dazzled by Buster's performance, Kathy forgot to turn the camera back around, resulting in there being no concrete footage of the actual break-in.

It seems Kathy also did a poor job of keeping her dirty secret hush hush as Ian went on to reveal at the end of last night's episode that he managed to catch a glimpse of his mum's mystery man before she slyly turned the camera away.

The stress of money woes however, soon takes a toll on the entire family– most noticeably on Steven's relationship with Lauren– when the rebellious Branning decides to treat herself to a new laptop.

Steven does not hold back his rage when he lectures his girlfriend on how she could have used that money to help out the family instead.

But it seems the brunette beauty's actions aren't as selfish as Steven may think as Lauren argues that she bought the equipment to pitch a new business proposition to Belinda Slater.

Way back in the nineties, viewers saw Ian at one of his lowest points when the failure of a new business venture forced him to declare bankruptcy.

So the question is, will Lauren's new investment be the answer to all the Beales' prayers... or will viewers see the family neck-deep in financial turmoil once more?
