Katie Price predicted ‘dramatic’ event could tear her from Harvey before drink-drive smash
KATIE Price feared something “dramatic” would happen in her life that would tear her apart from her son Harvey.
The 43-year-old - who was recently involved in a drink-drive smash - admitted she was relieved she had found a residential home for the disabled 19-year-old, describing it as a “security blanket”.
Opening up her concerns in upcoming book Harvey & Me, which has been shared by the , Katie wrote: "Harvey will be living at National Star for 52 weeks of the year, which means he can stay there as long as he likes – even throughout all of the holidays, including Christmas. Obviously he’s going to come home, but it’s a relief to know that he can always be there.
"If something dramatic happened in my life, and let’s be honest, that’s a common occurrence, I don’t have to be thinking, ‘What’s going to happen to Harvey? Who’s going to look after him?'
"It’s a massive weight off my shoulders to know that if he absolutely has to, he can stay there. I feel like now, for the first time, I can breathe. And even though I do, I shouldn’t feel guilty for that."
Katie spent six months visiting colleges for teens with autism and learning difficulties to ensure that she does the right thing for her son, before picking one in Cheltenham.
Shortly after the star was involved in a drink-drive smash, which saw her flip her BMW.

It led to her checking into private hospital, The Priory, where she is still receiving treatment.
She pleaded guilty to one count of drink-driving, one count of driving without insurance, and one count of driving while disqualified.
She will be sentenced on December 15.
Harvey was born with ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness.
The former glamour model has raised him alone after his dad Dwight Yorke abandoned him.
Katie is also mum to 16-year-old Junior, 14-year-old Princess, eight-year-old Jett, and seven-year-old Bunny.
