Buster Briggs to finally confess his raunchy affair with Kathy to partner Shirley
Just last month it was revealed that the cheeky fishmonger will be leaving the Square for good
BUSTER Briggs finally comes clean about his fling with Kathy Sullivan in tonight's episode of EastEnders.
Viewers have watched the ex-convict turned fishmonger, getting up close and personal with Ian's mum in recent months – and now it seems that the rest of the Square will also be let in on the pair's naughty secret.
Tonight's episode will see the loved-up twosome carrying out their secret affair as they sneak into Beale's restaurant together.
However, reality seems to be setting in for Buster as he begins to worry that he is losing Kathy when she makes him realise that they can't carry on like this.
But does Buster actually have the guts to finally confess his Romeo and Juliet fling to short-tempered Shirley so that him and Kathy can finally be together?
The cheeky charmer was Shirley's first love when they grew up together in Canning Town.
Yet with rapist son Dean and a string of criminal felonies– it has been far from plain-sailing for the now not-so-loved up couple.
Comforting him in his time of need, Buster certainly got more than he bargained for when Kathy became much more than a shoulder to cry on.
The jack-the-lad is clearly besotted with the blonde bombshell and is desperate not to lose her.
Kathy spots a very angry Shirley on the square later on in the episode– so perhaps the fish seller was able to pluck up the courage to confess his scandalous fling.
Just last month it was also revealed that Buster will be leaving the square for good.
Actor Karl Howman, who first hit screens in 2014, has already filmed his final scenes but the question is, will he be leaving with new love Kathy or is this the end of the road for the pair as Buster rides on out solo?

This week BBC also confirmed that Danny-Boy Hatchard is being written out of the iconic soap.
It comes after we revealed Samantha Womack and Rita Simons, who play Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell, will exit next year.
All three departures have been engineered by executive producer Sean O’Connor, who replaced Dominic Treadwell-Collins this year.
A source said: “Sean’s arrival has brought massive change to EastEnders, not least in the decision to exit Ronnie and Roxy.
“Others are now looking around and wondering who could be next to walk.”
However, once fiery Shirley gets to know about her partner's naughty behaviour it seems unlikely that Buster and Kathy will be getting the happily-ever-after that viewers are secretly hoping for.
