Justin Bieber takes chopper to V Festival for ‘hungover’ headline set after partying with girlfriend Sophia Ritchie the night before
Fans complained about the stars lacklustre performance after he admitted he was hungover
JUSTIN BIEBER arrived in style ahead of his headline slot at V Festival.
The star flew in via private helicopter to the site in Chelmsford, Essex, on Saturday, before heading to Staffordshire for his second gig.
Justin complained to the crowd about being hungover after partying with girlfriend SOFIA RICHIE’s pal BRONTE BLAMPIED on Friday night.
He wore a striped hoodie to perform hits including Sorry, Love Yourself and his first ever tune Baby.
If I had the choice of travelling on a chopper or the night Tube, I know which I would pick.
All Saints are All Hooked Up and back on stage
THE SPICE GIRLS reunion might be mired in drama but their Nineties rivals ALL SAINTS are as united as ever.
They put on the best V Festival sets of the weekend, mixing brilliant new material with their classic hits.
The thing about the APPLETON sisters, SHAZNAY LEWIS and MEL BLATT is that they are a girl band that sings like a vocal harmony group – and that was on display yesterday.
Poignantly they devoted single One Strike to close friend NICKI WATERMAN, The Sun’s fitness expert who sadly died from cancer earlier this month. Natalie said: “She loved this song. I miss her.”
This reunion is a huge success.
Fleur's blue rinse set
FLEUR EAST was anything but blue, despite her extreme makeover for her live set.
The former X Factor contestant joined me for a chat live on my Facebook page where she revealed the extreme lengths she’d gone to in a bid to hang with RIHANNA.
Showing off her T-shirt with the word “staff” on the back, she joked: “I’ve been doing a bit of security. I tried to get into Rihanna’s little section – tried and failed, couldn’t get backstage, but that’s not going to stop me. “
Even RiRi might have been taken aback by Fleur’s blue rinse.
She said: “I don’t know what else to do. I was running out of ideas. I did it just for V.”

Taking the stage
MY favourite new pop star BEBE REXHA avoided the rain at the Staffordshire leg of V Festival on Saturday by retreating to her tour bus to watch Pride And Prejudice in a onesie.
But DAVID GUETTA had wilder plans for her and got her on stage later in the day.
She told me yesterday: “He texted me like, ‘You look sexy lately! I’m looking at your Instagram right now. So you want to come on stage with me?’ I was like, ‘When?’ And he was like, ‘Two minutes!’”
RICKY WILSON waved goodbye to The Voice but like the show’s chairs, he might just turn around.
The KAISER CHIEFS star, left with me and SIMON RIX confirmed in a live chat on my Facebook at V he’d be up for going back to the show if SIR TOM JONES returns, as I revealed he is poised to do last month.
He said: “What would it take to get me back? It would take Tom Jones. If he did it I would do it.”
Love in the mix
LITTLE MIX have had lots of ups and downs in their love lives but their new album will be full of soppy songs if JESY NELSON and JADE THIRLWALL get their way.
The pair, who performed on both days at V, have been writing material with their boyfriends – Jesy’s RIXTON frontman fiance JAKE ROCHE and Jade’s rocker JED ELLIOTT from THE STRUTS.
And despite PERRIE EDWARDS and LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK being unlucky in love, their mates think their new tunes will make it on to the record.
But Jade admitted: “I was a bit nervous at first, writing with him, because I’m still in that honeymoon phase where I want to impress him.
“So I get a bit nervous giving my ideas in case he thinks they’re s***.” Sure he won’t be too tough on her.
