Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon reveals multi-millionaire mum worth £700m refuses to give kids ‘handouts’
MADONNA’s daughter Lourdes has revealed her mum has refused to give her any handouts - despite being worth £700milion.
In a candid interview, the 25- year-old, who’s dad is dancer Carlos Leon, described her mother as a “control freak” as she explained why she is self sufficient.
Chatting to actress Debi Mazar for magazine, she revealed: “My mom is such a control freak, and she has controlled me my whole life.
“I needed to be completely independent from her as soon as I graduated high school.”
Lourdes has proved she can stand on her own two feet already and has paid her own way through college and for her own apartment.
She continued: “We don’t get any handouts in my family. Obviously, I grew up with extreme privilege. There’s no denying that.
“I think my mom saw all these other kids of famous people, and she was like, ‘My kids are not going to be like this.’”
