Who is Bake Off’s Andrew Smyth? The 2016 finalist is back for the show’s Christmas special
Remember Andrew Smyth from the Great British Bake Off?
He made it to the final alongside fellow contestants Jane and Candice back in 2016 before eventually losing out to the latter.
Andrew now describes himself as a presenter as well as a baker, having hosted shows for the likes of the BBC, ITV and Channel 5. He also fronts his own baking series online entitled Bakineering.
This year, he toured the UK with his live baking & engineering show " of engineers."
In just a few hours, he'll be gracing the nation's screens again on Channel 4 as he competes in the Great British Bake Off Christmas special alongside Liam Charles, Flo Atkins and Jane Beedle.

Unfortunately, no, he didn't - although, he did make the final before losing out to Candice.
