Keira Knightley confesses to wearing wigs after hair dye caused dramatic hair loss

KEIRA Knightley's hair began to fall out so badly she has had to start wearing wigs.
The British actress has had her tresses in a variety of different styles and colours over the years but her constant style overhaul has come at a price.
Speaking to , she said: "I have dyed my hair virtually every colour imaginable, for different films.
"It got so bad that my hair literally began to fall out of my head.

"So for the past five years I’ve used wigs, which is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to my hair."
Keira had a short dark blonde bob in one of her earliest movies, Bend it Like Beckham in 2002 before switching to long flowing locks for her role as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
Fans were shocked when the star chopped off her long hair for a pixie crop in 2005 for her movie, Domino.
Since then she has sported everything from shoulder length blonde hair, dark brown curls and a sleek light brown bob.
However since the 31-year-old became a mother to daughter Edie last year, her locks have finally recovered.
She added: ‘I have naturally crazy, curly hair, and since I’ve had the baby it’s become 10 times thicker. "So now I’ve been finding quite a lot of dreadlocks."
Keira appeared to have her natural hair while filming movie Collateral Beauty earlier this year, and she will reportedly star in a new Disney live-action version of The Nutcracker as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Variety reports the British beauty has signed up alongside Morgan Freeman and American ballerina Misty Copeland for the movie, which will be based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King and titled The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
