Who is Candice Brown, what’s the Bake Off winner’s net worth, did she kiss Paul Hollywood and what are her top recipes?
CANDICE Brown and her iconic lippy was the cream of the crop when she took home the Great British Bake Off trophy back in the summer of 2016.
Since then, she has appeared on Dancing On Ice, released a cookbook and got engaged. Here is everything we know about the star.
Who is Candice Brown?
Candice, 34, was born in North London to parents who ran pubs.
At the time she applied for 2016's Great British Bake Off she was a PE teacher based in Bedfordshire, with a passion for pies, cakes, and baking in her pyjamas with high heels on.
During her time on the show, she became well known for her ever-changing lipstick colours.
However, it was her incredible creations that got her to the final of the show, and 14 million people tuned in to see her crowned winner by Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.
When asked what got her into baking, Candice revealed that her grandma was a big influence, and added that she'd love to become "even half the lady she was".
Since the show, she has amassed a huge online following, with 89.5k Twitter followers and 182k Instagram followers.
What is her net worth?
After winning GBBO, Candice returned to her day job as a PE teacher in the special needs department of a secondary school.
But, it wasn't long before she quit to focus on other opportunities, and it was predicted she could make £1million in her first year after commentators called her the most "marketable" winner so far.
It is unclear quite how much Candice has made since leaving the show.
However, she has certainly been busy, having landed a column for The Sunday Times, made appearances on Loose Women and published her first book, Comfort: Delicious Bakes and Family treats.
Is the star married?
The TV star revealed that she said her "I do"s with boyfriend Liam Macauley, 31, in a secret wedding in France.
It follows her hen do in Las Vegas, after which she hit back at fans assuming she was pregnant because of the way her belly looks in the photos she shared.
In April 2012, a year before the couple met, he served 16 months in jail for dealing cannabis.
He and an accomplice were arrested with £7,000 worth of drugs as they drove from Edinburgh to Inverness in 2009.
In February 2017, ex-convict Liam got down on one knee and popped the question to a delighted Candice after the 2017 National Television Awards.
Much confusion followed because Candice did not confirm the whether she had said yes — but she later revealed to The Sun that she is not, in fact, engaged at all.
Candice explained: "I wear a ring on my engagement finger purely because I enjoy wearing lots of vintage jewellery."
She added: "We know we will get married one day, but there’s no pressure for it to happen soon. We get on brilliantly and Liam’s definitely the one for me."
However, in October 2017 Candice confirmed she was engaged to Liam and revealed he proposed to her in a car park.
Did she kiss Paul Hollywood?
At the Pride of Britain Awards in London at the beginning of November 2017, the Sun On Sunday exclusively revealed pictures of Candice sharing an intimate kiss with GBBO judge Paul Hollywood, 51.
They sipped champagne and Paul — who cheated on his wife in 2013 — draped a blanket over Candice’s shoulders.
The Sun Online revealed the pair were together ALL evening and shocked onlookers with their behaviour.
They didn't seem to care who saw them as an onlooker exclusively told us: "They were all over each other; hugging and stroking each other.
"The Pride Of Britain awards isn't the place for that kind of behaviour and we were all shocked by it. Other celebrities noticed and all eyes were on them."
Shortly afterwards Paul headed to Twitter to react to the news after Candice made a joke about it on social media.
She wrote, "no kisses or hugs hello or goodbye from now on- handshakes or waves only!" to which Paul replied, "incredible ..!" with a laughing emoji.
Paul and his wife Alexandra later announced they were separating.
Candice revealed that Paul Hollywood was in fact on her wedding guest list.
What is she doing now?
Since winning GBBO, Candice has made a number of television appearances, including Loose Women and This Morning.
She has also taken part in a charity bake sale to celebrate Giving Tuesday, an alternative to Black Friday with people around the world being encouraged to do a good deed for charity.
More recently, she was a contestant on Dancing On Ice, joining the likes of Brooke Vincent, Kem Cetinay and Max Evans.
Candice was paired up with returning professional Matt Evers.
On the opening night, the pair were nominated by the public vote to face a skate-off in week two again the bottom pairing from the second show.
Unfortunately for the Bake Off star, that's where her Dancing on Ice journey ended, as she lost the skate-off to soul singer Lemar.
She appears on Celebrity Mastermind on BBC One, in which John Humphrys grills her on her specialist subject, Audrey Hepburn.

Candice demonstrated her talent for creating baking masterpieces from the word go.
Her gingerbread pub - which saw her produce an entirely edible replica of a historic boozer called King William IV - secured her Star Baker of Buscuit Week while on GBBO.
Her cookbook Comfort: Delicious Bakes and Family Treats, which was published in 2017, also contains a number of sweet treats, including peanut butter and marshmallow blondies.
