Katie Price ‘promised her children she’d get better’ on FaceTime from rehab says ex Kieran Hayler
KATIE Price has promised her children she “will get better” during an emotional FaceTime from rehab.
The 43-year-old went straight to The Priory this week after being spared an immediate jail term despite going on a booze and drugs bender before flipping her BMW on a country road.
Her children Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven - who she shares with her ex Kieran Hayler - have been left “worried and upset” by the incident.
But mum-of-five Katie has spoken to them and tried to reassure them, Kieran has revealed.
He told the : “Bunny asked her about what happened, and she said she was in hospital and she's going to get better and see them really soon.
“She's gone to The Priory, I have seen she is there, I spoke to her on FaceTime on Wednesday night and she's in the best place at the moment to sort herself out.
“Kate said she will be speaking to the children most days from The Priory, and I hope she will get better and the help she needs.”

Kieran - who recently welcomed a little boy Apollo with his fiance Michelle - will be taking full custody of the youngsters until Katie’s next court date in December.
Despite an acrimonious split, Kieran is very concerned for his ex-wife and has been in touch with Peter Andre to make sure they are doing what they can.
Pete is looking after Junior, 16 and Princess, 14, while Katie seeks help.
Worried Kieran asked: “How much more can somebody take before they break? If Kate carries on like this, she's going to end up dead.”
Katie overturned her vehicle at 6.20am on Tuesday near West Grinstead, close to her home in Horsham, West Sussex.
Her roadside alcohol reading was nearly double the legal limit and she tested positive for cocaine.
The ex-model and reality star was said in court to have told police who pulled her from the wreckage: “I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all.”
She pleaded guilty to three charges of drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
