Remember these? Here are 10 Disney movies that may have slipped your mind
They're bringing out so many new films, it's hard to keep up. Here are some you might have missed.
EARLIER this year, Disney confirmed their plans to remake nine of their classic movies into live-action specials.
With Cinderella, The Jungle Book and Maleficent proving so successful, who can blame them?
Up until 2019 nine remakes will be released, including Mary Poppins and Cruella De Vil.
But there are plenty of films from the studio that haven't made the cut.
Not only that, they seem to have slipped the net entirely - so we thought we'd remind you of their existance...
The Princess Diaries
Anne Hathaway made her film debut in this girly novel adaptation - and she was in good company, starring alongside Julie Andrews.
The story followed an awkward teenager who discovers she is a princess and heir to the Genovian throne.
The film has been largely forgotten, but luckily Anne hasn't. In fact, she was recently cast alongside Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock in Ocean's Eight.
Piglet's Big Movie
In this cute tale, Whinnie the Pooh's loyal pal piglet finally gets his 15 minutes of fame.
It was the second in a trio of Whinnie movies - which included The Tigger Movie and Pooh's Heffalump Movie.
But unlike A.A.Milne's books, the films didn't seem to have staying power.
The Princess and the Frog
Based on E.D. Baker's novel The Frog Princess, the animated movie follows a waitress from New Orleans, Tiana. When she kisses a prince who's already been turned into a frog by an evil witch doctor, she suffers the same fate and must find a way to return to a human once again.
While it received rave reviews, it has appeared to have slipped off the radar since.
Hocus Pocus
This light-hearted horror shows another side to the Sarah-Jessica Parker we got to know so well in Sex and the City.
The actress joins Bette Midler and Kathy Nijimy as a trio of witches, who are resurrected when a teenage virgin lights the 'Black Flame Candle' on All Hallows Eve.
A Bug's Life
This 1998 3D release tells the story of a loveable ant Flik and her colony. While every year the ants gather food for a group of greedy grasshoppers, Flik is left in a tricky situation when she knocks over the offering into a river.
When she's given a second chance to collect some more food, she recruits a gang of bugs to help her out.
Dinosaur
Disney splashed the cash with this movie and, at the time, the effects were very special indeed.
But when it came to the storyline, critics were less than impressed.
The film follows an orphaned iguanodon and the pack of lemurs that brought him up as they battle for safety when a meteor hits, meeting a group of dinosaurs along the way.
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
Who remembers Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox in this teen movie? No? Us neither...
LiLo stars as an aspiring actress who moves to New York to pursue her dreams, with cliché's of teen rivalry, love and friendship thrown in for good measure.
The Emperor's New Groove
This film proved hugely popular when it was released in 2000. It told the story of the groovy emperor Kuzco, who is turned into a llama by his administrator Yzma. With the help of llama herder Pacha, he sets out to regain his throne and return to his human self.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
This was one of Popcorn's favourite Disney films back in the day - but ten years on, nobody seems to celebrate it anymore.
In one of Disney's darkest animations, deformed bell ringer Quasimodo befriends the beautiful gypsy Esmerelda and dashing soldier Phoebus.
The three of them battle to defend against the evil minister Claude Frollo as he attempts to kill all the gypsies in Paris.
They don't make 'em like this anymore!
Hocus Pocus
This light-hearted horror from 1993 shows another side to the Sarah-Jessica Parker we got to know so well in Sex and the City.
The actress joins Bette Midler and Kathy Nijimy as a trio of witches, who are resurrected when a teenage virgin lights the 'Black Flame Candle' on All Hallows Eve.
