Tom Felton was saved by celebrity surfer Kelly Slater after terrifying collapse on golf course
TOM Felton was saved by quick thinking surfing ace Kelly Slater who rushed to the Harry Potter actor's aid after he collapsed at the Ryder Cup last week.
The Sun can reveal that the 11-time world champion raced to Tom's rescue and put the 34-year-old in the recovery position as shocked staff looked on.
The surfer, 49, was playing on the rival US team consisting of Mike Eruzione, A.J. Hawk. Dan Jansen, Rob Riggle and Mandy Rose.
While cameras snapped a grey-faced Tom being stretchered off the course, Kelly's heroic actions went unnoticed.
A source told The Sun: "Tom was at the 18th when he collapsed.
"Everyone was stunned and taken aback but what cameras didn't see is that Kelly jumped straight into action.
"He ran over to Tom and immediately put him in the recovery position well before medics were on the scene.
"He then stayed with him keeping him calm keeping him as safe as possible."
